Trauma outpatient clinics

Victims of serious acts of violence can find help and support in designated trauma outpatient clinics in North Rhine-Westphalia as part of the so-called "rapid assistance" of SGB XIV. There, they receive prompt and free initial care from medical and psychological specialists.

In North Rhine-Westphalia, responsibility for the trauma outpatient clinics is divided between the two regional associations Rhineland and Westphalia-Lippe.
